On August 23d the charter programm for children from Nizhnevartovsk came to the end.

The first meeting of the renovated Coordinating Board of Siberia Airlines and Tolmachevo airport took place on August 27th.

The international charitable action «Operation Smile» took place with assistance of Siberia Airlines on the basis of Ambulance Children's Hospital No 3 from the 5th to 15th August 2003. It was held by the international organization of the same name (Operation Smile), that rendered free highly skilled surgical assistance to the children with birth grain defects. The American delegation consisting of 42 specialists arrived to Novosibirsk. They all got the significant benefits for the flight and luggage carriage from Siberia Airlines.

In July 2003 Siberia Airlines operated 2 922 flights by which it conveyed 448,1 thousand passengers (the growth against July 2003 made up 28,6%), and transported 1 831 tons of cargo and mail. Passenger turnover of the airline has been increased in 22,3% and made up 1 212 mln. passenger-kilometers.

Today Siberia Airlines comes first according to the density of passenger traffic in Russia and it takes the second place by international traffic, being the first-rate airline in the Siberian Federal Region. In 2002 more than 10% from all air passengers of Russia were conveyed by Siberia Airlines (2,7 million of passengers). The result in many respects is provided by Siberia Airlines promotion activity in the filed of air communication in Siberia.
