Siberia Airlines received a letter of thanks from the Niigata Prefecture, Japan, the official delegation of which visited Russia in June, arriving with the first Company's flight from Niigata to Irkutsk. The delegation members met the administration of the Irkutsk region and the management of Siberia Airlines, visited the Taltsy historical and architectural museum and the Baikal Lake museum and made a trip to Moscow.

Siberia Airlines A310 aircraft landed at the Tolmachevo airport yesterday for its first maintenance service in Novosibirsk. It arrived as a regular S7 177 flight from Moscow and will return to Moscow on August 10 as a regular S7 178 flight after A-check maintenance at the aircraft maintenance base of Siberia Airlines.

Siberia Airlines starts regular Airbus 310-300 flights from Kemerovo. This aircraft will replace Tu-154 on the morning flight No.172 to Moscow. Kemerovo is the first West Siberian region in Siberia airlines route network to use 310 on a regular basis.

During the first six months of 2004, Siberia Airlines has carried 1,503,000 passengers, 17.1% more than in the same period last year. Passenger turnover has increased by 13.6% to amount to 4.054 million passenger-kilometers. In addition, the company's aircraft has carried 9,832 tons of cargo and mail.
