S7 Airlines’ Moscow-Irkutsk route now operated by modern Airbus A319

On 26 August, Flight S7 779/780 was operated by a modern Airbus A319 for the first time. This daily flight will now be operated by an A319 on a permanent basis. From Moscow to Irkutsk, departure is at 23:25 and arrival at 9:45; from Irkutsk to Moscow, departure is at 12:30 and arrival at 13:25 (all times are local).

S7 AIRLINES’ annual fall ticket sale: 31 august – 17 september

From 31 August to 17 September, S7 Airlines is holding its annual fall ticket sale, covering almost all its regular flights. Tickets with major discounts for travel from 18 September 2006 through 25 March 2007, will be available from S7 Airlines’ own offices and the ticket offices of other participants in the program.

Tolmachevo Airport's Millionth Passenger Flies With S7 Airlines
Tolmachevo Airport checked in its millionth passenger this year today. The lucky individual was 16-year-old Anastasia Nekrasova, an Altai schoolgirl traveling with her parents on Flight S7 3321 from Novosibirsk to Anapa.

In Anastasia's words, she had a feeling throughout the run-up to her long-expected holiday that something that a lucky break was about to come her way.

In July 2006 S7 Airlines carried over 600,000 passengers in a month for the first time. In all, 619,000 passengers flew a combined total of more than 1,500,000,000 passenger kilometres with the airline –a rise of 81,000 passengers, or 15%, and 220 million passenger kilometres, or 16%, compared to the July 2005 figures.
