Chelyabinsk – Almaty: the first flight

S7 Airlines is pleased to announce the launch of a new regular service between Chelyabinsk and Almaty, starting October 31 2006. Now S7 passengers can make business trips to the capital of southern Kazakhstan, visit relatives there, or simply go there on holiday and see for themselves the beauties of Lake Issyk-Kul, the Alatau Mountains and the Medeo sport complex.
 

S7 to operate more winter flights to Sochi than any other airline

This year’s upcoming ski season promises to be a special one for Sochi. Since last June, when the IOC selected Sochi last as one of the official candidate cities for the 2014 Winter Olympics, interest in the city amongst winter sports fanatics has massively increased.
 

S7 opens new perm office

Valery Vorobyov became the first S7 passenger to buy a ticket at the airline’s new city ticket office in Perm. This memorable event took place October 17.

S7 launches Irkutsk-Bangkok route

October 17, 2006

Next week, on October 23, Irkutsk and the capital of Thailand will be linked by a regular flight for the first time, as S7 launches its new Irkutsk–Bangkok route. The new flight, S7 759, will operate once a fortnight (on Mondays) throughout the winter until March 2007. Our airplanes will use Bangkok’s new Suvarnabhumi Airport, opened this autumn. The flight will take 7 hours.
