Domodedovo Airport has announced the November results of its monthly ‘Most Punctual Airlines’ competition. Once again, the winner in Category 1 (major carriers) was S7 Airlines.

Flight safety has always been a priority for S7 Airlines, and now it has been taken to a new level: S7 has become the second airline in Russia to undergo the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA). This is the first global flight safety standard. Its introduction makes it possible for airlines to organize their activities so that flight safety requirements are given first consideration when any decisions are being made.

The S7 Airlines brand continues to make its mark on a global scale. At the recent 21st London International Awards 2006 festival, in November, S7 Airlines was the only Russian finalist. The London International Awards are an international symbol of creative success and bring together the best work from around the world in advertising, design and interactive media. This year alone, it attracted more than 17,000 works from 80 countries around the globe.

The current special prorate agreement between S7 Airlines and Vietnam Airlines has been renewed. This makes the most attractive fares to South-East Asia available to S7 passengers; now flights via Moscow to Vietnam (Hanoi and Saigon) have become even more accessible. Special fares are also available for flights from Novosibirsk and Irkutsk via Beijing and Seoul.

On December 1 2006, tickets went on sale for the regular weekly flights S7 885/886, to operate on Fridays between Moscow and Tenerife from January 5 through March 25 2007. Departure from Moscow is at 1:45 PM (arriving in Tenerife at 6:00 PM); departure from Tenerife is at 7:20 PM (arriving at Moscow at 5:10 AM the next day). Tickets for summer season flights will go on sale later.
