S7 Airlines completed more than 47,500 flights in 2007, an increase of 19% over 2006, and transported 5,698,109 passengers, a 16% increase over 2006. The number of passengers transported increased by 22% on domestic routes and 8% on international routes. The occupancy rate over 2006 increased by 3 percentage points to 80.9%, while the commercial occupancy rate increased by 5.2 percentage points to 75.3%. Passenger traffic exceeded 13.9 bn passenger-km in 2007, up 11% from 2006.
As part of a program to expand the S7 Training Center, S7 Airlines has completed the construction of a new building to house the company’s new emergency rescue trainers.
Modern equipment for conducting emergency rescue training of crews of Boeing 737 and A320 airplanes of all modifications will be installed in the new building of the training center. They include Door Trainers and a Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer. They are also known as mockups. Aircraft crews (pilots and flight attendants) will complete drills of emergency rescue procedures on the trainers.
As part of an integrated program to develop its flight crew training system, S7 Airlines has acquired and is now using it at the S7 Training Center a new M/FTD (Maintenance Flight Training Device)procedural trainer, which is designed to train crews on Airbus A320 aircraft. The new trainer, priced at about $1 million, makes it possible to train pilots using the most modern methods.
S7 Airlines announces the start of a special promotional campaign for its passengers called “Armenia Winter 2008.” Tickets may be purchased between 25 January and 10 February 2008 for flights during the period from 25 January through 29 March 2008.

260 EUR from Moscow to Yerevan.
In January 2008, 10 graduates of Russian summer schools completed the Extended Multi-Crew Cooperation Course stipulated by international standards for subsequent training on the Airbus A320 airplane* at the S7 Training Educational Center.
S7 Airlines is Russia’s first airline to implement this course as an obligatory condition in the training of young pilots.
