S7 Airlines expands e-ticket partnering throughout the world

S7 Airlines signed interline agreements on e-tickets with three international airlines .

S7 Airlines, the major Russian air-transporting company as regards the number of passengers conveyed within internal air routes, have made Mutual recognition agreements with three bigger international air carriers of e-ticket. Since now, any flights with Qatar Airways, Royal Jordanian Airlines, Vietnam Airlines are possible with e-tickets of S7 Airlines and vice versa.

S7 Airlines improves the system of selling tickets via Internet

Now it is easier to buy tickets for connection flights* via S7 Airlines website.

Now when booking tickets via Internet for all domestic and international S7 Airlines routes it is enough to specify the point of departure and the point of final destination, and the electronic system will create a single ticket automatically and will give information on transfers and the price of the whole route. Before a passenger had to buy the first ticket to the point of transfer, and then the second – to the point of final destination.

S7 Airlines showed rise of all key production indicators in January 2008

The amount of transported passengers increased by 33%

S7 Airlines, Russia’s largest domestic airline in terms of volume of transfered passengers, transported over 425,000 passengers in January 2008,a 33% increase over the previous year. The volume of transported cargos and mail increased by 37%. Passenger traffic growth is also determined by intense expanding of the route network, carried out last year, and increasing the amount of flights on the existing routes.

Now the passengers of S7 Airlines can buy tickets for any Emirates flight.

S7 Airlines, the largest domestic Russian airlinein terms of volume of transferred passengers, and Emirates, one of the leading world airlines, concluded a bilateral interline agreement, which allows to transport passengers with the tickets of the partner-airline. Therefore, having S7 Airlines tickets, one can travel on Emirates flights and vice versa.

S7 Charter’s operating results for 2007

The amount of profit from S7’s charter flights increased by 30% in 2007.

Owing to the services of S7 Charter company the amount of profit gained from S7 Airlines’ charter flights in 2007 was over 5.92 milliard rubles, a 30% increase over 2006. These results became possible due to raising the effectiveness of charter line which was separated from S7 Airlines into an individual structure within S7 Group of companies in January 2007 and was called S7 Charter.
