Consigneea legal or physical entity that is specified in an air waybill as the shipper of cargo.

Consignora legal or physical entity that has concluded a contract of transportation by air of cargo with the Carrier and is specified in an air waybill as the shipper of the cargo.

Damage to baggage or cargoharm done to baggage or cargo during transportation, as a result of which it can no longer be fully or partly used for its intended purpose.

Dangeous cargogoods or substances that constitute a threat to the life and health of passengers, to flight safety, to the safety of property and to the environment if they are carried on aircraft, and are either listed as dangerous cargo in the International Civil Aviation Organization's Technical Instructions for the Safe Transportation of Dangerous Cargo by Air, or classified as such in accordance with them.

Disembarcation from an aircraftthe process by which passengers leave an aircraft after it has landed, under the supervision of the Carrier or its authorised agent.

Domestic transportation by airtransportation by air, whereby the points of departure and destination and any other points of landing are located within the Russian Federation.

Embargorefusal by the Carrier, for a limited period, to transport a cargo, whatever its class or type, on any route to (or from) any point and/or from any transfer Carrier.

Endorsementwritten approval from the Carrier making out a document of transportation or payment document, or the Carrier specified by a relevant flight coupon of the document of transportation or by an exchange coupon of the document of payment, for the transportation to be performed by another carrier or in exchange for the document of transportation or payment document originally issued.

Excess baggagebaggage above the weight limit of the free baggage allowance set by the Carrier, or chargeable baggage because of other reasons.

Excess baggage receipta document confirming payment by a passenger for the transportation of baggage heavier than the weight limit of the free baggage allowance set by the Carrier, or which is subject to compulsory payment for another reason.

Farea fee charged by the Carrier for the transportation by air of a passenger or for the transportation of a unit of weight or volume of baggage or cargo from the point of departure to the point of destination along a set route.

Final airport (or point)the airport (or point) at which a flight is scheduled by a timetable (or flight plan) to finish.

Flighta flight by an aircraft (scheduled or unscheduled), made in one direction from the route's point of departure to its final point.

Oversized baggagea passenger's baggage, the sum of the three dimensions of which exceeds 200 cm when it is packed.

Oversized cargocargo, the dimensions of one or more items of which exceed those of the cargo hatches and cargo compartments of the passenger aircraft in which they are being transported.

Ownerless cargocargo, the owner of which is not identified within the time limit set by the Carrier, starting from the day it reaches the airport.

Passenger coupona part of a passenger ticket or payment document that confirms the conclusion of a contract of transportation by air or the provision of other services by the Carrier.

Pre-flight security checkan inspection of hand baggage, baggage and passengers, aircraft, cargo, air crew and on-board supplies, aimed at discovering substances and articles prohibited on aircraft (explosives, flammables, radioactive or poisonous substances, weapons, ammunition, narcotics, etc.) for reasons of aviation safety.

Property Irregularity Report (PIR)a document made out by the Carrier or its authorised agent in the presence of a passenger, or authorised representative of the latter, immediately any damage to baggage is discovered.

Refundthe repayment to a passenger or consignor, or an authorised representative of either, of part or all of the cost of transportation, or other services they have paid for, if such transportation or services have not been performed, or have only been partly performed.

Reservationa preliminary allocation to a passenger of a seat on an aircraft for a sertain flight and date, or a preliminary allocation of volume and tonnage for the transportation of baggage or cargo on the aircraft.

Stopover airport (or point)an intermediate airport (or point) at which, in accordance with a contract of transportation by air, a passenger's journey is interrupted for more than 24 hours.

Technical instructions for the safe transportation of dangerous cargo by aira document approved and published by the Council of International Civil Aviation Organization, which sets out in detail the requirements applicable to the international civil transportation of dangerous cargo by air.

The carrierSiberia Airlines, which issues the document of transportation, performs, or is obliged to perform, transportation by air, and provides, or is obliged to provide services connected with such transportation, according with the documents of transportation or payment issued by the airline or other bodies authorised by the Carrier.

Unclaimed baggagebaggage that has arrived at the airport (or point) of destination specified on its baggage tag and has not been collected by a passenger.

Unclaimed cargocargo that is not collected within the time limit set by the Carrier, starting from the day the consignee is notified of its arrival, confirmed by documents.

Undocumented cargocargo that has arrived at an airport without an air waybill or other required documents, or cargo in storage that does not have documents.

Unloading from an airportthe process of removing baggage or cargo from an aircraft after it has landed, under the supervision of the Carrier or its authorised agent.

VIPa person with eminent social, religious or political status.
|
Volume weighta value obtained by dividing the product of the length, height and width (in centimetres) by a special coefficient, 6000.
