Chelyabinsk — Almaty: the first flight

S7 Airlines is pleased to announce the launch of a new regular service between Chelyabinsk and Almaty, starting October 31 2006. Now S7 passengers can make business trips to the capital of southern Kazakhstan, visit relatives there, or simply go there on holiday and see for themselves the beauties of Lake Issyk-Kul, the Alatau Mountains and the Medeo sport complex.

Almaty is one of the largest cities in Central Asia, and is a regional political, financial and academic center.

S7 will operate 3 Chelyabinsk — Almaty — Chelyabinsk flight a week (on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays), using a Boeing 737. Passengers traveling on to Moscow and Europe will be able to avail themselves of convenient two-way connecting flights with attractive transfer fares from $160.
