S7 Airline: Fly Airbus A319 from Moscow to Krasnodar


Airbus А319 aircraft are part of the modern narrow-hull range of Airbus А320. Launching aircraft of this family is a step in strategic program for upgrade and modernization of air park of S7 scheduled to run for 7 years. Average age of А319s flown by S7 Airlines is 3 to 5 years and they offer a spacious, comfortable two-class cabin design capable of taking up to 128 passengers. Currently, the air park of S7 consists of 12 aircraft of this type, and another 5 aircrafts have been agreed to arrive before this year-end.

Its inclusion in the list of of operators that have passed IOSA, is recognition of the fact that S7 Airlines has been acknowledged within global aviation community as a safe carrier matching the strictest international standards.

In 2007, S7 Airlines continued to implement its aircraft fleet upgrade program scheduled to run for the next 7 years. Within this program, a number of large-scale contracts with the world’s top civil aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing and Airbus has been signed in order to get new planes:

    »  10 Boeing 737-800, shipments start in 2010;
    »  15 Boeing 787 Dreamliner, shipments start in 2014 (airline will be Russia’s first operator of these state-of-the-art aircraft).

Also, several operational leasing agreements were signed with ILFC to supply 4 new Airbus А320s (shipments start in early 2008) and with leasing company Cramington to supply 9 Airbus А319 aircraft. The first four А319s already arrived at the airline and started commercial flights.
