S7 Airlines switching to winter flight schedule
S7 Airlines is announcing the introduction of the winter flight schedule from 28 October 2012, which will remain in effect until 30 March 2013. The airline will be operating flights to 25 countries and 119 destinations.
While the winter schedule is in effect passengers of S7 Airlines will be offered new travel routes. From the 29th of October a new regular direct flight Novosibirsk — Hong Kong will be performed twice a week, from the 30th of October — a weekly Novosibirsk — Fergana (Uzbekistan) flight. From the 3rd of November flights from Novosibirsk to Kulob (Tajikistan) will be made.
New destinations are awaiting the fans of active winter recreation. From the 23rd of December S7 Airlines is opening a direct flight from Novosibirsk to Munich. Currently passengers can travel between the two cities with a convenient connection at the Moscow Domodedovo airport. From the 26th of December S7 Airlines is launching a new flight from Moscow to one of the most beautiful Italian cities — Verona. This is the most convenient airport for travelling to popular mountain skiing resorts of the Dolomites.
In the winter 2012/2013 the usual flights to European traditional mountain skiing resorts —Innsbruck (Austria), Chambéry (France) and Plovdiv (Bulgaria) - will be resumed. Additionally, flights on the Moscow — Munich (Germany) route will be made more frequently. The flights will be performed up to 21 times a week.
On S7 Airlines own flights passengers will still be able to transport skiing gear free of charge. In addition to baggage, a passenger can transport a ski set (a pair of mountain skis with sticks or a snowboard, boots, headgear, glasses, special clothing) in a bag weighing no more than 20kg.
In the coming winter S7 Airlines will traditionally get an opportunity to rest at the warm sea resorts of Thailand. S7 Airlines is resuming the Novosibirsk — Phuket flight, as well as flights to Bangkok from Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk and Khabarovsk.
The airline will continue to make year-round regular flights to popular tourist destinations: from Moscow to Valencia, Madrid and Alicante (Spain), Burgas and Varna (Bulgaria), Tivat (Montenegro), as well as from Vladivostok and Khabarovsk to Hong Kong, and also to the capital of China — Beijing — from Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Ekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Yakutsk, Omsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Ulan-Ude.
All flights are performed on Airbus and Boeing aircrafts. The fleet of S7 Airlines includes 20 Airbus A319 aircrafts, 15 Airbus A320s, one Airbus A310, two long haul Boeing 767-300 aircrafts, four Boeing 737-400s and nine Boeing 737-800NGs.
