As part of S7 Airlines’ program to modernize its fleet of aircraft, 10 Boeing 737-500 aircraft were leased in 2005, and are used for flights from Moscow on domestic routes (Sochi, Rostov-On-Don, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Chelyabinsk, Magnitogorsk, Novosibirsk, Nizhnevartovsk) and also for flights to Germany, Armenia and Ukraine.

The Boeing 737-500 is designed to hold 104 passengers: 8 in business class and 96 in economy class. The aircraft features a spacious cabin, low noise level inside the cabin, as well as other advantages that ensure a comfortable flight. The aircraft have been painted using a color scheme in accordance with the airline’s rebranding program.
