The republic of Korea is a new country in S7 Airlines route network
S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld® global aviation alliance®, from the 25th of June 2014 launches its own regular flights from Irkutsk to the capital of the Republic of Korea — Seoul.
Flights will be operated once a week on Wednesdays. Departure from Irkutsk at 05:45, arrival in Seoul at 09:45. The return flight will depart at 11:15 and arrive in Irkutsk at 15:30.
The flights will be performed on modern comfortable Airbus A320 aircrafts designed to carry 158 passengers in the economy and business class cabins. Tickets are already available for purchase.
“A new international destination from Irkutsk is a part the planned development of S7 Airlines route network in Siberia and the Far East. After a five-year break we resume flights to South Korea, we will soon launch flights to Seoul from other Russian cities”, Vadim Besperstov, Strategic Development Director noted.
From the beginning of the year Russian citizens don’t need a visa for a visit to South Korea not exceeding 60 days.
