You can travel with sports equipment on S7 Airlines flights

We explain how to transport all your sports gear.

What you can carry for free

If you have a baggage allowance, in addition to your suitcase, you can take one set of equipment from the list below free of charge.

The total weight of this set must not exceed the allowable weight:

  • 23 kg for the Economy Standard fare

  • 32 kg for the Economy Plus, Business Basic, Business Standard, and Business Plus fares. If the baggage is heavier, you will be asked to pay extra

What can you transport for free?

If your fare includes baggage, in addition to your suitcase, you can take one set of equipment from the list below free of charge:
Alpine skiing
1 pair of alpine skis with poles in a case + 1 piece of equipment (boots, helmet, goggles) or only 1 piece of equipment
Snowboard
Snowboard in a case + 1 piece with equipment (boots, helmet, goggles)
Kiteboard
1 kiteboard in a case + 1 piece of equipment (sail, wing, goggles, helmet, wetsuit, life jacket, special clothing, mount, pump)
Wakeboard
1 wakeboard in a case + 1 piece of equipment (gloves, goggles, helmet, boots, wetsuit, life jacket, bindings, rope)
Water skiing
1 pair of skis in a case + 1 piece of equipment (gloves, goggles, helmet, boots, wetsuit, life jacket, bindings, rope)
Fishing equipment
1 case with fishing rods + 1 piece with fishing accessories (tackle box, hooks, line, floats, bait)
Golf equipment
1 bag with clubs. Balls and other golf accessories must be transported in regular luggage.
Bicycle without batteries
1 case or several bags
Hockey equipment
1 case with clubs
Cross-country skiing
1 case with skis and poles
Skateboard
1 case with a board
Scooter without batteries
Folded or disassembled
Gymnastics hoop
1 case with hoop/hoops
Nordic walking or trekking poles
1 case
Tennis and badminton rackets
1 case with rackets
Billiard cues
1 tube with cues

If your equipment is not listed above

You can carry it for free if:
· the equipment fits in the baggage with the rest of your belongings: folded, disassembled, or deflated; or
· you have a baggage-inclusive fare and are carrying only the equipment as baggage, and the weight and dimensions of the equipment do not exceed the allowable limits: the sum of the length, width, and height does not exceed 203 cm, and the weight does not exceed 23 kg or 32 kg, depending on the fare
You will have to pay if:
· you have a baggage-inclusive fare and are carrying only the equipment as baggage, and the weight and dimensions of the equipment exceed the allowable limits: the sum of the length, width, and height exceeds 203 cm, and the weight does not exceed 23 kg or 32 kg, depending on the fare

When will payment be due?

You will have to pay for transporting any equipment if you:

Fly on the Economy Basic fare without baggage. If your baggage is heavier than 23 kg, you will also be charged an excess baggage fee
02
You are carrying more baggage than your fare allows
