Located between the Louvre, Palais Royal gardens and Bourse de Commerce, "The Lab" keeps finding new ways to combine art, design and science. A space that was transformed from a former printing office was opened in 2007 by a Harvard professor David Edwards and serves as a facility where artists and scientists experiment and create something that hasn't yet got a name. It is a mixture of technology, art and philosophical concept. In 2009, they created "the Cloud of Tastes" – an excarnate exhibition filled with flavours. Several years later another metaphorical cloud, built with a help of an ingenious system of capturing water from air, hung in the lab's showroom. There is nothing like it in Paris, and the entrance is free, so you simply can't avoid this amazing world of professor Edwards.
