Caelum

Author: Jenny Kokshina Barcelona, Spain

#Cafe

A small cosy coffee shop located in the old Jewish quarter. It's one of the places that specializes in pastries and confectioneries made by nuns. The choice is not limited just to biscuits and pies, they also bake various cakes and make sweets. Need to relax after a long day? At Caelum, you can enjoy a cup of monk's herbal tea or a coffee brewed in a special way. Large chocolate cookies are also highly recommended!
The coffee shop is worth visiting not only because of the hot chocolate and crispy airy meringues. A couple of centuries ago there were bathrooms in the basement. Just imagine these high vaulted ceilings and beautiful stone walls - won't it be a perfect place to escape the summer heat?
