Travel GuidesSpainBarcelonaEl Gato de Raval or the Raval Cat

Walking through the Raval district, you may accidentally stumble upon a monument of a cat. This bronze sculpture made by Fernando Botero who works in the figurative style is more than two meters high and five meters long. This statue was placed on Rambla de Raval in the late 1980s. The cat looks very friendly, by the way.
