Pez de Oro

Author: Jakk Pinto Ramenski Barcelona, Spain

Set between two giant skyscrapers, Torre Mafre and ARTS Hotel, a sculpture of a golden pot-bellied fish towers above the surroundings. It was erected for the 1992 Olympic Games and looks quite aggressive due to its size. Inwrought narrow iron stripes perfectly reflect sunlight and make the fish shine with gold on a sunny day.
