Surprisingly, you won't find Starbucks in Sweden, the second country in the world by coffee consumption. Perhaps the place has enough coffeehouses already. For example, one of them – Drop Coffee – was open a couple of years ago. Commonplace interior, traditional cappuccino and latte in the menu – at first you'll think this place is not so special. Just order a cup of 'varietal coffee', not very strong, but with concentrated flavor. The café offers about 8 different grades of coffee. You better ask a barman for advice. Try crazy El Salvador (grains are dried with the pulp) or awakening Guatemala. Order a cup of sweet Brazil if you want to taste something new. The store purchases coffee directly from small eco-plantations and browns it in Stockholm roasters (and also plans to buy its very own roaster). By the way, you can also buy beans to grind at home. A cup of coffee will cost you 30 to 45 SEK, a pack – from 100 SEK. The coffeehouse offers breakfast from 7:30 to 11:00, and hearty branches on weekends.
