Event for veterans of the Great Patriotic War


S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld® global aviation alliance®, traditionally holds an event for veterans of the Great Patriotic War on the eve of the Victory Day. 

Sale of reduced fare tickets starts today. During the event the airline will give veterans1 an opportunity to take S7 Airlines regular flights within Russia and the CIS on special terms from 5 to 12 May 2016. 

For a one-way flight within Russia the fare is 100 roubles, for a round-trip flight the fare is 200 roubles. For a one-way flight between Russia and the CIS the fare is 2 Euro, for a round-trip flight the fare is 4 Euro. In case of purchase of air tickets at special fare fuel surcharge is not levied.

Air tickets are available at S7 Airlines own ticket offices or at offices of authorized ticket sales agents from 8 April till 12 May 2016. To get special fare tickets passengers should present documents confirming the status of a veteran of the Great Patriotic War2 and passport of citizen of the Russian Federation, and foreign citizens should present documents confirming residence permit on the territory of the Russian Federation.

1 Veterans and invalids of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945, born before 1940 inclusive (hereinafter referred to as the «Event Participants»), who fall under categories specified in par. 1 cl. 1 art. 2 and art. 4 of the Federal Law «On veterans» (Annex 1), and who are citizens of the Russian Federation or other countries. 

2 Standard Certificate of a veteran of the Great Patriotic War with an indication of articles 14, 15 or 17.
