New public garden in Novosibirsk from S7 Airlines
S7 Airlines announces the completion of the main works on the improvement of the territory of the new public garden in Novosibirsk.
The garden, located right in the heart of the city, at the intersection of Ordzhonikidze and Sovetskaya streets is a gift of S7 Airlines to the citizens of Novosibirsk in honor of the 20th anniversary of the airline. The creation of the garden is a joint project of S7 Airlines, the administration of the Novosibirsk region and Novosibirsk Mayor's Office.
As a mark of completion of the main works on improvement, the governor of the Novosibirsk region Vasiliy Yurchenko together with the Mayor of Novosibirsk Vladimir Gorodetskiy and the General Director of S7 Airlines Vladimir Obyedkov planted a willow in the very center of the public garden.
«The history of S7 Airlines is inseparably connected with Novosibirsk. In the year of anniversary of the airline we wanted to make a special present to our native city. Today in the place of wasteland there appeared a marvelous green garden with a convenient drive way and parking. We hope that it will become a landmark of the city and a favorite place for many citizens of Novosibirsk», noted the General Director of S7 Airlines Vladimir Obyedkov.
Today the most part of the works is done. The Mayor's Office has built and started a fountain, arranged a car parking. The airline carried out works on territory improvement: the alleys and plots were paved with decorative paving slabs, the trees and shrubs were planted, the lawn was laid. In the gardening there were used plants that take root in Siberian climate.
In the garden there are installed continuous benches, covering the raised borders. The basic lighting is organized: the lanterns are placed along the alleys and the lighting of trees is mounted.
At the next stage the airline will finish the works on lighting and install separate benches.
