S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld® global aviation alliance®, celebrates the tenth anniversary since the first flight to Samara.

The first S7 Airlines flight from Moscow to Samara landed at the airport on 20 February 2006 at 10:12. At first the airline operated six flights a week on this route, but already a month and a half later the frequency of flights was increased up to two flights a day.

Today the route Moscow — Samara is one of the most popular with Russian passengers. S7 Airlines operates daily four flights between the two cities on modern comfortable Airbus A319 aircrafts. From the Moscow Domodedovo Airport flights to Samara depart at 10:25, 15:40, 19:00 and 23:50, and from Moscow to Samara — at 06:15, 13:50, 19:20 and 22:35. Passengers have an opportunity to travel within the S7 Airlines wide route network with convenient connections at the Domodedovo Airport.

In April 2015 S7 Airlines increased the number of destinations from Samara opening new flights from the Kurumoch Airport to Surgut and Novosibirsk.

In Samara passenger services are provided at a new modern terminal of the Kurumoch Airport, which was put into operation in 2014. The first flight, which was handled at the new terminal, was the flight of S7 Airlines.
