S7 Airlines and Asiana Airlines open codeshare flights
S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld®global aviation alliance, and Asiana Airlines have signed a codeshare agreement providing for codeshare flights between cities of Russia and the Republic of Korea.
Beginning from 29 March 2015 in addition to S7 Airlines-operated flights the passengers will be able to travel from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Khabarovsk to Seoul three times a week on each of the destinations. The flights will be performed on the Airbus A321 aircraft of Asiana Airlines.
S7 Airlines operates own regular flights to the capital of the Republic of Korea from Vladivostok and Irkutsk and will launch another one from Novosibirsk from 15 June 2015. The agreement signed will allow the airline to increase the frequency of flights to Seoul from Vladivostok up to six times a week and from Khabarovsk — up to four times a week.
In their turn the passengers of Asiana Airlines will now be able to take flights of S7 Airlines from Seoul to Irkutsk, Novosibirsk and Vladivostok, and also on the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk — Vladivostok route.
