S7 Airlines and JAL open code-share flights to Tokyo
S7 Airlines and Japan Airlines (JAL), members of the oneworld global aviation alliance, are extending the scope of the code-share agreement.
The airline companies will operate code-share flights from Moscow to the key-cities of Japan.
Direct flights from Moscow to Tokyo (Narita International Airport) are now available to S7 Airlines passengers. Code-share flights will be operated from September, the 4th 2013 three times a week — on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The tickets are already available for purchase.
Flights will be operated on modern Boeing 787 aircrafts of JAL. All aircrafts equipped with economy and business class cabins.
According to the agreement, S7 Airlines passengers can fly to other cities in Japan — Sapporo, Nagoya, Itami, Fukuoka and Okinawa — with convenient connection at Narita International Airport.
Members of frequent flyer program “S7 Priority” can collect miles and receive bonuses on all flights of JAL. Status members of the program can use the services of business class lounges of JAL, as well as 550 business class lounges of other airline companies of the oneworld alliance in airports of the whole world.
S7 Airlines still operate own direct flights to Tokyo from Khabarovsk and Vladivostok. According to the signed agreement, JAL passengers can also purchase direct flights on these routes. Flights are operated on modern comfortable Airbus A320 aircrafts.
