S7 Airlines announces «hunt» for its aircrafts

The airline presents 5 million bonus miles

S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld® global aviation alliance®, developed a new “catch-a-plane” app which allows its users to get bonus miles in the S7 Priority programme every time when an S7 airliner is flying over them.

In order to take part in the “catch-a-plane” event you need to download the S7 “catch-a-plane” app on any mobile device with iOS operating platform.1

After indicating the airliner of S7 Airlines or any other airline of the oneworld® aviation alliance the app will send a notification with the information on the airliner route. If the participant opens the notification about the S7 Airlines flight and clicks the button “Catch a plane”, he/she will get from 1 to 3 miles accrued to his/her account depending on the flight range: up to 3000 km — 1 mile, from 3000 to 4000 km — 2 miles, over 4000 km — 3 miles. According to the event rules miles in respect of partner airlines aircrafts are not accrued.

Under the event rules a user can catch only one airliner within 10 minutes. A user can also get 1 mile for publishing the app link in his/her Facebook or Twitter profile. The total number of miles available to compete for is 5 million, thereafter the event will expire.

Every notification about the S7 Airlines flight contains the information on the average ticket cost on this route, which is available for purchase at s7.ru. If needed from the app you can pass on to booking of an air ticket for this route with one click and go for a trip.

In order to participate in the event after downloading the app you need to authorize by specifying the S7 Priority card number and PIN-code received during the registration in the programme.2 Unregistered participants can quickly register in the programme within a few minutes and receive the number of a temporary S7 Priority card. In order to use miles later full registration is required, you will be requested to specify the number of the temporary card on the airline website or you can call the S7 Priority programme Contact centre on 8 800 700–9010 (free within Russia).
