S7 Airlines completed the delivery of Boeing 737-800NG
Narrow body aircrafts Boeing 737-800NG are known for their high-reliability, low fuel consumption indices as well as for their aggregate economical efficiency in exploitation. The layout of S7 Airlines Boeing 737-800NG air-liners provides 12 business seats and 148 economy class seats.
Boeing 737-800NG airplanes are operated on domestic air routes of S7 Airlines. They are expected to replace the Soviet made aircraft on the routes Moscow — Kemerovo, Moscow — Ulan-Ude, Moscow — Barnaul, Moscow — Sochi, Moscow — Samara, Moscow Rostov and Moscow — Saint-Petersburg.
Out of a total 60 air crafts presently the S7 Airlines flying stock consists of four Boeing 737-800NG and two Boeing 737-400. Up to the end of 2008 the S7 Airlines flying stock will also be replenished by two Boeing 737-400 and three long-distance Boeing 767-300ER.
OAO Sibir Airlines (the S7 Airlines brand) is the largest airline on Russia’s domestic routes and one of the top 50 world air carriers in this segment.
In 2007 the company received an official notification from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) about the airline’s certification in that organization, becoming the second carrier in Russia to successfully pass the IATA Operational Safety Audit.
S7 Airlines is one of Russia’s most stable airlines, incorporating the latest achievements of the world industry in the servicing of passengers and actively expanding its service. S7 Airlines won the annual national “People’s Brand / Brand No. 1 in Russia” prize in 2007.
