S7 Airlines has updated the design of its Android app

S7 Airlines, oneworld® global airline alliance member, has updated its mobile application for the Android operational system. The new version of the app is already available to download on Google Play.

The fundamental changes were made to the design, the user interface and its functionality. The design has become lighter and cleaner and the main interface element is a card that conveniently holds a piece of information necessary for the passenger before, during and after the flight: the data about the flight, the boarding card after one checks-in, the insurance and other services. The data will synchronize across all devices of the user and will be available offline.

With the help of the app the passengers will be able to purchase a ticket to S7 Airlines and partner flights, check-in, pay for the Extra Space Seat. The members of S7 Priority programme will be able to exchange miles for premium tickets through the app, check the account balance and the transaction history of the crediting and redeeming of miles. Status members of loyalty programme, owners of silver, gold or platinum cards can also choose Extra Space Seat for free.

S7 Airlines app, as always, at the top of Google Play apps in the Travel category. In the totally-renewed version we have abandoned the traditional search menu of flights, booking of tickets, check-in, and created the intelligent assistant to plan your travels. All cards relevant to the trip are now gathered in one place: tickets, insurances, transfers. Moreover, this new functionality has been implemented in clear and convenient way thanks to the minimalistic design which is so ever-present nowadays, Dmitry Chuyko, the Director of E-Commerce of S7 Group, says.

The updated application of S7 Airlines is available to download on Google Play. The app is available for smartphones running Android operating system version 4.0 and higher.
