S7 Airlines iOS app saw its complete redesign


S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld® global airline alliance, has updated its application designed for iOS users. The new version of the app is fully adapted to the latest version of iOS 10 and is already available for download in the App Store.

The design and user interface of the application have changed drastically. The world's leading designers — Swedish agency Stockholm Design Lab (SDL) — were involved in developing the concept. Their philosophy is based on the fundamental principles of Scandinavian design — simplicity, minimalism and clarity.

The design of the application has become concise, its interface — intuitive and more logical. The application is implemented as a user-friendly "cards" that store everything a passenger needs before, during and after the flight: flight information, boarding pass after the on-line registration, insurance and other services. The user always has on-line and off-line access to this data.

The main functions of the previous version of the application — ticket search and purchase — stayed the same: passengers can still buy tickets on S7 Airlines and partner flights, check in, pay for the Extra Space superior comfort seat and excess baggage.

S7 Priority Program Members can exchange miles for premium tickets, check account balance and miles transaction history using the application. The app gives the ability to loyalty program participants, holders of silver, gold and platinum cards to choose comfortable seats for free and arrange for free excess baggage.

This year we have fully renovated our website, and now we present a complete redesign of the iPhone application. We've stepped away from the conventional division into reservations, ticket sales and registration sections and combined all the necessary information in a single «Travels» section. S7 Airlines holds a special offer until 30 September 2016. New users, installing the application for the first time from 1 September 2016 until 30 September 2016, will receive a discount in the amount of 1,000 rubles for their first in-app purchase. The discount can be used to purchase tickets for S7 Airlines flights to be performed from 1 September 2016 until 25 December 2016.

The updated official S7 Airlines app is available for download in the App Store. You can use it if you own a smartphone running iOS version 8 or greater.

The update for the Android operating system is scheduled for later.
