S7 Airlines, a oneworld® global airline alliance member, opened the sales of tickets to flights from Novosibirsk to Issyk-Kul. At the moment, S7 Airlines is the only air carrier servicing this direction.

Direct flights from Novosibirsk to Issyk-Kul airport in Tamchi will be carried out starting 5 July 2017 on Wednesdays. Flights will depart from Tolmachevo airport at 7:05 and arrive at 8:50 local time. Return flights will depart from Issyk-Kul airport at 9:50 and arrive in Novosibirsk at 13:30. The modern Embraer 170-LR aircraft will be the plane of choice for these flights. These aircraft are designed to transport 78 passengers in a spacious and comfortable cabin of the economic class. S7 Airlines is the first operator of this type of aircraft in Russia.

“Issyk-Kul Lake is one of the main natural and tourist attractions of Kyrgyzstan. Tourists come here for a good mix of mild climate and good ecology, to relax on its beaches, to go sightseeing and to have all kinds of active and therapeutic recreation. Before S7 Airlines has opened the direct service, one could only reach Issyk-Kul through the large cities of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. Now travellers can comfortably fly to Issyk-Kul by means of direct flights from Novosibirsk. Moreover, passengers from the Siberian region can have convenient connections in Tolmachevo,” says Igor Veretennikov, the Commerce Director of S7 Airlines.

Issyk-Kul airport is located on the northern shore of the lake, where the main beaches and resorts of the health-resort zone of Issyk-Kul are concentrated.
