S7 Airlines launches flights to Sicily

S7 Airlines, oneworld® global airline alliance member, announces the opening of flights in the summer schedule of 2017 from Moscow to Catania, a resort town on the Italian island Sicily. Tickets are available now.

Direct flights will be performed to the airport of Catania starting April 27, 2017, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Flights will depart from Moscow airport Domodedovo at 08:00 and arrive at 11:10 local time. Return flights will depart at 12:05 and arrive in Moscow at 17:10. The flights will be performed by modern and comfortable Airbus 320 aircraft with economy and business class sections.

“Compared to the capital of Sicily, Palermo, Catania is cozier, cleaner and not so noisy. It is a wonderful place both for ancient European architecture lovers and fans of mountain tracking and picturesque views. That is because Catania is close to the Etna volcano. In addition, there are the purest and the most beautiful beaches around the city. Fans of beach recreation call Catania one of the best Italian resorts,” Igor Veretennikov, the Commerce Director of S7 Group, says.

Catania is the sixth Italian destination on the S7 Airlines route network. The airline also performs scheduled flights to Verona, Naples, Turin and Pisa, and to Genoa in the summer.
