S7 Airlines Passengers Can Now Fly to Chicago
In June 2008 American Airlines will begin to operate flights from Chicago (USA) to Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport. Passengers with S7 Airlines tickets can now travel on all American Airlines flights and vice versa. Until recently, no direct flights were available between Chicago and Moscow. Passengers had to transfer at a hub airport in Europe or the United States.
S7 Airlines strives to expand its geographical reach for its passengers. For this purpose, the company is opening its own new routes and concluding interline agreements with major foreign airlines. In March 2008, the signing of a partner agreement with Singapore Airlines opened up for passengers of S7 Airlines the possibility of flying to Houston (USA) at special fares. This is a very popular route. Special S7 Airlines fares will also be available on flights to Chicago in the near future.
S7 Airlines has concluded a total of 64 interline agreements, including 28 agreements on the mutual recognition of electronic tickets. The company plans to conclude more than 45 electronic interline agreements by the end of the year.
Tickets on some of the flights of S7 Airlines’ interline-partners will be available through our website in the near future. Internet ticket purchasing is currently available on all of S7 Airlines’ own flights.
S7 Airlines is the largest airline on Russia’s domestic routes and one of the world’s top 50 in this segment.
