S7 Airlines transported more than 1.5 million passengers in August
S7 Group airlines1 have drawn up a balance of their operating activities for August 2017. Over the last month, the airlines carried 1,529,195 passengers.
449,718 passengers took international flights of the airlines and 1,079,477 passengers took domestic flights of S7 Airlines.
“S7 Airlines has spent the summer months quite efficiently. Now, the route map of the airline has 29 new domestic and international flights, including flights to Germany, Greece, Georgia, Italy, Iran, Kazakhstan, Thailand and Japan, which were in demand by travellers. Furthermore, this summer passengers of S7 Airlines were the first in Russia to assess the comfort of flights on modern Airbus A320neo and regional aircraft Embraer 170,” notes Igor Veretennikov, the Commerce Director of S7 Group.
In August the passenger turnover has increased by 3,5% and amounted to 3,350,318 thousand passenger-kilometres, the cargo turnover has increased by 3,3% and amounted to 313,342 thousand tonne-kilometres.

The airline has a wide internal route network, created on the basis of air transport hubs in Moscow (Domodedovo) and Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo).
