S7 Airlines will carry veterans of the Great Patriotic War for free

S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld® global aviation alliance, from the 3rd till the 12th of May 2015 will carry the Great Patriotic War veterans for free to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Victory Day.

“On behalf of all S7 Airlines employees I would like to pay obeisance to everybody who drew the victory of the motherland in the Great Patriotic War nearer. Traditionally our company holds special 9 May events. In the year of the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory we are pleased to offer to veterans and invalids of the Great Patriotic War to take free flights in order to visit memorable places and celebrate the Victory Day together with fellow soldiers or relatives wherever they are”, Vladimir Objedkov, S7 Airlines General Director, noted.

By now over two hundred free tickets for S7 Airlines flights have been issued as a part of the special celebratory offer. Moscow is the most popular departure city among veterans, it is followed by the cities of the Central Region, the South of Russia and the cities of Siberia and the Urals.

The Victory Day event is still running. Till the 12th of May 2015 veterans and invalids of the Great Patriotic War and accompanying persons1 can get free air tickets for S7 Airlines own flights within Russia, which will be performed from the 3rd till the 12th of May 2015. According to the event rules transfer flights are also possible.

Veterans, invalids of the Great Patriotic War and accompanying persons have an opportunity to check-in at business class counters2 or to check-in without standing in a queue, and they are entitled to use VIP lounge services at airports of departure. S7 Airlines will provide most comfortable seats onboard.  Honorable passengers will receive congratulations and memorable souvenirs from S7 Airlines.

According to the event air tickets are available at S7 Airlines own sales offices or at offices of ticket sales agents. To get free air tickets at sales offices passengers should present documents confirming the right to the privilege, and foreign citizens should additionally present documents confirming residence permit on the territory of the Russian Federation.
