Siberia Airlines begins flights to Irkutsk

«Our airline will be the only one, performing flights from Novosibirsk to Surgut by TU-154 and offering its passengers a flight in business class cabin. In addition to comfort and shortening of flight time this kind of aircraft is more economical counting on one passenger, than planes, which are flying today on this direction. Thus, we may offer our passengers lower tariffs», points out sales manager of the airline Anton Eryomin. Among other advantages of the new flights are the following: possibility of goods transportation from Novosibirsk (that allows to decrease cost of delivery goods to Surgut), and also summer transfer of passengers from Surgut via Novosibirsk to South and Central regions of Russia. Starting flight to Surgut became one step to further development of route network of Siberia Airlines within Russia. During 2003 it is planning to start a range of new flights from Moscow, Novosibirsk and Irkutsk to other cities of Russia. Launching new flights will allow Siberia Airlines to take a leading position on volume of transportations on Russian airlines.
