SIBERIA AIRLINES celebrates expansion of its Nizhnevartovsk activity by ticket sale


Last year SIBERIA AIRLINES for the first time performed scheduled flight Nizhnevartovsk — Moscow, which has become daily since this June. The same year flight Nizhnevartovsk-Novosibirsk was launched. Apart from direct flights to Moscow and Novosibirsk, SIBERIA AIRLINES offers joint flights to twenty cities of Russia, near foreign countries, remote countries, including Baku, Yerevan, Hannover, Munich, Kiev and Beijing. In addition to scheduled flights, the company has been conducting charters from Nizhnevartovsk for five years. In December, SIBERIA AIRLINES won tenders for children and students transport meeting municipal orders placed by Nizhnevartovask and Nizhnevartovsk region, as well as Tumen Oil Company. Sum total of the flights planned according to these programs - 25 flights to the Black sea.
For the first half of 2002, SIBERIA AIRLINES has carried 1 million 83 thousand of passengers, that is 57,6% higher than the similar showing of the last year. Passenger turnover has increased in 56,3% and amounts to 3144,8 million p/km. Goods turnover rise is 55,5% and amounts to 309,1 million t/km. SIBERIA AIRLINES flights volume for the period of January-June raised in 44% compared to the first six months of 2001. New 12 flights, including three international flights, have appeared in SIBERIA AIRLINES schedule.
