Siberia Airlines launched a new international flight to Tbilisi.


Some features distinguishing it from the other flights of this direction characterize new flight. Due to the fact that the flight is integrated in transfer system of Siberia Airlines flights, convenient communication between Tbilisi and the largest cities of Siberia and North of Russia (Novosibirsk, Omsk, Irkutsk, Tomsk, Barnaul, Kemerovo, Novokuznetsk, Norilsk, Nizhnevartovsk, Novy Urengoi, Ulan-Ude, Murmansk) is provided. Flight jointing is performed at Domodedovo airport. Siberia Airlines will become the first airline performing flights from Georgia to Domodedovo airport — the latest and SARS disease most comfortable Russian airport for the passengers, with full set of service technology of transfer passengers. Siberia Airlines passengers will be able to take «Aeroexpress» electric train free of charge, which conveys passengers from the airport to the center of Moscow, Paveletsky station within 40 minutes. At Paveletsky station one can find flight registration office, which services are also free-of-charge for Siberia Airlines passengers. In addition, Siberia Airlines is to become the only airline for this direction providing hot meals onboard. Georgia has become the third Transcaucasian republic where Siberia Airlines performs scheduled flights. Earlier Siberia Airlines launched flights to Armenia (Yerevan) and Azerbaijan (Baku). South of Russia and Transcaucasian states — are one of the priority directions of Siberia Airlines activity. Within three months of 2003 Siberia Airlines conveyed 482 thousand of passengers, that is 18,7% higher than the similar showings for the previous year. Passenger turnover of Siberia Airlines increased in 13,7% and made up 1,4 milliard passengers/kilometers. Freight turnover of the company increased in 12,5% and amounted to 138,8 million tons/kilometers.
