Siberia Airlines launches evening flights from Novokuznetsk to Moscow
Launching a new flight not only will let satisfy growing demand on this direction, but also help to save time and to spare strength of those passengers, who need to be in Moscow or in Novokuznetsk in the morning. The evening flight is also convenient for passengers, who are going to continue a trip from Moscow next morning. «At the end of 90-s, because of a great drop in a volume of the air traffic, there were only morning flights to Moscow from Kemerovo and Novokuznetsk, which have been daily operated by Siberia Airlines», replies Gennady Sidyakin, the director of Kemerovo branch of Siberia Airlines, «during the last years economic growth in the region and improvement of well-being of the population made increase in demand for air cervices. Responding to the growing demand Siberia Airlines last year for the first time launched flights to Kuzbass by wide-body liner IL-86 and launched evening flights from Kemerovo. And now we start operating evening flights from Novokuznetsk as well.» A branch of Siberia Airlines in Kemerovo was founded in July, 1998. It is comprised of two air squadrons, and the total number of its workers is more than 200 men. The scheduled flights are operated from Kemerovo (since 1998) and Novokuznetsk (since 1999). In 2002 the branch of Siberia Airlines in Kemerovo conveyed more than 170 thousand passengers (that is 25% more than the last year).
