Siberia Airlines switches to summer time-table

The regular flights, as before will be operated mainly from three hubs: Moscow, Novosibirsk and Irkutsk. Siberia fully retained last year’s route network, except for several seasonal flights which became poorly profitable due to the sharp rise in the price of fuel.

From Moscow regular flights will be operated to 42 destinations, among which are new routes — flights to Ust-Kamenogorsk (Kazakhstan) and Tel-Aviv (Israel). The route network from Novosibirsk includes 30 cities, from Irkutsk — 15 cities. Besides the flights operated last year, new flights have appeared, such as Irkutsk — Komsomolsk-na-Amur and Irkutsk — Tyanjin (China). Direct seasonal flights to the southern resorts of the Black Sea will be operated from other Siberian cities: Tomsk, Kemerovo, Omsk and Novokuznetsk. From Omsk flights will also be operated to Hannover, Frankfurt (both in Germany) and Anatolia (Turkey).

Western-made aircraft which the airline plans to lease by the beginning of the high season will be deployed on many routes.

Important changes will take place in the fare policy of the airline. The fare structure will become simpler and more understandable thanks to which it will be easier to select the optimal fare when purchasing tickets. There will be less restrictions and penalties connected with acquiring and returning low-fare tickets. The combination of minimal fares on various flights will also be allowed.
