Ten flights of S7 Airlines will host Total dictation
S7 Airlines, the oneworld® global airline alliance member, became the general carrier of the “Total dictation”, an annual educational event, which will be held on April 8, 2017.
“Total dictation” is a public event held in order to give every person an opportunity to examine himself on his knowledge of Russian. On the threshold of the event free Russian language training is being carried out in Russian cities, as well as on the website of the event. It is expected that over 200,000 people from 800 Russian and foreign cities will write the dictation this year. The text of the dictation is written specifically for the event each year. This year it was authored by the famous Russian writer Leonid Yuzefovich.
S7 Airlines passengers will have an opportunity to test their knowledge and write the dictation at an altitude of 10,000 meters. This year, the event will take place on 10 internal and international airline flights, including the flight from Novosibirsk, the origin city of the “Total dictation”. Passengers of the following flights will be able to join in:

On each flight, 30 passengers will be able to write the dictation. Flight attendants will hand out printed forms, as well as audio-guides with headphones which will make it possible to hear the text and not to disturb other passengers.
“We are glad that S7 Airlines remains the partner of this event. Last year, “Total dictation” for the first time was held at an altitude of 10,000 meters. The passengers of S7 Airlines flight from Novosibirsk to Moscow were writing it together with the country. The interest of the passengers in the event was very high and we decided to continue this tradition by expanding the geography even beyond Russia. The theme of the dictation this year coincides with the airline’s geography, it is an essay on the author’s native cities, Perm, St. Petersburg, and Ulan-Ude”, notes Olga Rebkovets, the Director of the Total Dictation Foundation.
