The summer timetable for S7’s flights from Perm


Under the timetable, 42 scheduled flights a week will be operated from Perm, including 25 to Moscow. Last summer, Perm Airlines operated 31 flights a week, including 18 to Moscow. Thus, this summer, thanks to the co-operation between Perm Airlines and S7, the total number of flights from Perm will increase by 35%, and the number from Perm to Moscow will rise by 38%. Three quarters of the daily Moscow flights will be with new, foreign-manufactured aircraft —Boeing 737-500s.

As well as the Moscow service (the most popular), the regional flight network will also be boosted: new routes have been introduced to Novosibirsk and Irkutsk, and an extra flight to Krasnodar has been added. Many popular routes will be benefit from more advanced equipment. The flights to Yerevan, Dushanbe, Sochi and Anapa will now be with Tu-154Ms, which are more spacious and comfortable than the Tu-134s they are replacing.

The programme of charter flights from Perm will also see big improvements. The summer timetable includes 10 flights a week, to 7 destinations: Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada, Egypt; Antalya, Turkey; Varna and Burgas, Bulgaria; Rimini, Italy; and Barcelona, Spain. The charter flights will be with Tu-154Ms.

S7 and Perm Airlines began their programme of co-operation in December 2006. As part of this programme, the airlines are integrating their flight and sales networks, with the aim of making Perm Airlines’ summer service more profitable and expanding S7’s presence in the Urals.

In 2006, for the fifth year in a row, S7 was Russia’s leading domestic airline in terms of passenger numbers and passenger kilometres, carrying a total of 4,900,000 people. Its fleet increased to more than 60 aircraft, 26 of which are new and foreign-manufactured.
