Totalniy dictant (Total dictation) was held onboard the S7 Airlines flight
S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld® global aviation alliance®, became a partner of the Russian educational event «Totalny dictant» (Total dictation). On 16 April 2016 passengers of flight S7 182 Novosibirsk — Moscow wrote the dictation during the flight.
«Totalny dictant» is an annual educational event held in order to give every person an opportunity to check his/her Russian knowledge.
For the first time «Totalny dictant» was held onboard of an aircraft at the 10 000 m altitude. For the event organizers chose a flight from Novosibirsk, the home city of «Totalny dictant» and S7 Airlines.
Onboard the Airbus A320 aircraft of S7 Airlines cabin crew members offered passengers to participate in the event and check their knowledge. The text was dictated by Elena Kuznetsova, a member of the «Totalny dictant» Expert Council and a professional philologist.
50 passengers participated in the event, but only 37 resolved to hand in their papers for checking. All these papers were transferred to experts for checking. Passengers will be able to learn their results and marks after 20 April on the website of the event «Totalny dictant».
This year the event was held in 732 cities of Russia and around the world. The text for «Totalny dictant» 2016 was written by Andrey Usachev, a children's story writer.
