S7 Airlines adds an option to pay for ancillary services with Miles

S7 Airlines, a oneworld® global airline alliance member, is the first among Russian airlines to offer passengers an option to pay for ancillary services with Miles of the S7 Priority Loyalty Programme.

When you check in for a flight online or at a check-in counter at the airport, you can pay for the chosen seat in the cabin, including an Extra Space seat, or for excess baggage with your Miles .

To order the service an S7 Priority member must have enough Miles on their account, including Miles for at least one S7 Airlines flight taken during the current or previous year. Miles will be automatically debited from the account at the moment of the issuance of the service. Booking a seat in the cabin costs 1,000 Miles, the cost of an Extra Space seat starts from 2,500 Miles and excess baggage costs 5,000 Miles1.

“S7 Airlines is the first airline in Russia to offer its passengers the option to purchase ancillary services for Miles. The new option will allow passengers to realise the advantages of participating in the S7 Priority Loyalty Programme more quickly. Even if you have not accrued enough Miles to book an award ticket, you can already use your Miles and get ancillary services, making your trip even more comfortable. Membership in the loyalty programme is advantageous even for those members who have only 1,000 Miles on their account,” says Natalia Nikolaeva, S7 Priority Loyalty Programme Development Director.

S7 Airlines is constantly improving its loyalty programme, offering the most favourable conditions for passengers. So, for example, a member of S7 Priority can upgrade or maintain their Elite Status in the loyalty programme for Miles, if they fulfil 80% of the basic qualifying conditions for getting it.
