S7 Airlines is switching to a winter flight schedule
S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld® global aviation alliance, on October 28, 2018 is switching to a winter flight schedule, which will be effective until March 30, 2019 inclusive. During this period, the airline will operate flights to 181 destinations in 26 countries.
“During the winter season, we are happy to offer S7 Airlines passengers new flights to international and domestic destinations. We have significantly expanded our presence in Southeast Asia. The S7 Airlines flight map will have a new country, Vietnam, where the pristine nature is in perfect harmony with resorts with a developed infrastructure for active recreation. Flights will be operated from Irkutsk and Novosibirsk to Cam Ranh, the nearest airport to the Nha Trang resort. In addition, the following new routes to Thailand will be available in the winter schedule of this year: from Krasnoyarsk to Bangkok, from Irkutsk to Phuket,” said Igor Veretennikov, Commercial Director of S7 Group.
Flights to the cities in Southeast Asia will be operated on the most modern S7 Airlines aircrafts — the Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX. Their distinct capabilities include extended flight length, efficiency and environmental friendliness. Passengers will appreciate the comfort of the cabin with more spacious overhead compartments, armchairs that are equipped with special mobile device holders and USB sockets, and eye-pleasing LED lighting.
In December, S7 Airlines will resume flights to the following popular destinations for active winter recreation in the mountains: from Moscow to Turin and from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Innsbruck and Salzburg. You could also get to the Alpine resorts in any season by taking flights from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Munich and Verona.
For the first time, direct S7 Airlines flights to Sochi will be available to travelers from the Northern capital who prefer a ski vacation on the slopes of Krasnaya Polyana. Transportation of a set of ski equipment on S7 Airlines flights will be traditionally free. In addition to luggage, each passenger can carry one set of equipment — a pair of mountain skis with sticks or a snowboard, as well as boots, a helmet, goggles and special clothes with a total weight up to 23 kg for economy class passengers and 32 kg for those flying business class. The equipment must be packaged in a general bag or a bag and one piece of baggage with the sum of three dimensions not exceeding 203 cm.
Prague, Barcelona, Rome, Naples, Larnaca, Berlin, Tbilisi, Yerevan — cities with their own unique warmth — are always among the popular winter destinations. For the first time during the winter season, passengers from St. Petersburg will be able to take S7 Airlines flights to Spanish Alicante.
